Prompting a window when moving to Done

Hello!

I want to prompt a window with a mandatory text field for every Story that moves to Done.

When I try to add a Transition in the Workflow, I get this error message:

"You are not permitted to add multiple global transitions to the same status"

Any idea why?

My workflow is simple and allows moving to Done from any status.

Hi,

You don't eed to add a transition, but you need to add a screen to the transition you already have.

That worked perfectly. Thank you!

I tried to use this solution but my workflow doesn't show (in the diagram and text option) the transition from "Any" to "Done". How did you add a validator to this specific transition?

@Uri Shavit

(EDIT: I mentioned the wrong person in my initial response.)

You may not have a Global Transition (an arrow from the word "any" to the "done" status).

In a workflow diagram each arrow is a transition. Each arrow points to a Status. If the arrow comes from the word "any" that means you can transition from any valid status in that workflow to the one pointed to by the arrow. If the arrow comes from another Status then that transition governs the change between just those two statuses.

You need to modify the transitions that point to the status you use for "done". If there is more than one then you will need to move each one.
