I have received a request from developers that they want to track pull requests in their
projects. This needs to be tracked within the ticket and the request needs to be closed when the pull request is merged.
1. How would you implement this?
2. What tools would you leverage to perform the transitions?
3. If the developer/project lead does not approve your recommendations, how would you address their concerns?
Kindest Regards,
Dan
Hi @Dan Anas
This is Syed - a pre-sales engineer @ Exalate.
You can use Exalate to create a bi-directional sync between Jira and GitHub (among other ITSM systems). This was you will be able to not only sync pull requests, but would also be able to fully control your integration at field level to ensure that you are are integration exactly what you want (and need).
Please feel free to review Exalate to see if it fits your needs or simply book a demo with us to explore your use case further.
Thanks
Syed
