Query Historical values for Sprint, Label and\or Component

Is there a way to query tickets where sprint , labels or components was set to a previous value (ie. using the WAS statement).

I attempted the WAS command and got the prompt historical searches are not supported by those fields - but thought I'd ask in the event there was another way around this.

Unfortunately there isn't. History searches are indeed not supported. There is/are feature request open for it, currently gathering interest:
