Question about field Time Tracking

Hi, I saw that "Time Tracking" is a system field. But in edit screen, it changed to Original Estimate and Remaining Estimate. So I wonder what's their relation. I want to do automation among stories, which is the result of story A's estimated days plus story B's estimated days can automatically go to story C's estimated days. Their relations will be clones and depend on. So I want to know the logic, and which field I should use in our script in plugin scriptrunner.

Indeed the Time Tracking is a system field where logged and estimated fields are defined.

They include:

• Original Estimate
• Remaining Estimate
• Time Spent

Together, they form the time tracking field visible on issue screens.

In order to make a "calculated" field, you can use the Original Estimate.

However, I don't know how to reference original estimate in ScripRunner.

Hi Dave, yes, I just found that the field Original Estimate doesn't have an ID. Is that normal?
