Récupération de mail entrant outlook

Bonjour,

 

Je rencontre des problèmes de récupération des emails d'une messagerie que j'ai connecté au compte Jira.

J'ai effectué la configuration d'une boite mail entrante outlook entreprise, dont atlassian est autorisé à accéder à la boite mail, et j'ai essayé de configurer le gestionnaire de courrier dans JIRA pour automatiser la création de ticket dans un projet spécifique dès l'arrivée d'un nouvel email sur la boite de messagerie.

Or lorsque je fais le test via le bouton prévu à cet effet dans la popin de configuration du gestionnaire de mail, le test m'indique que je n'ai aucune email. Or j'ai bien une dizaine de mails en non lu et même en envoyant un nouveau à ce moment, rien n'apparait dans mes boards jira.

 

Pouvez-vous m'indiquer le problème ?

Thank you for reaching out on the Atlassian Community.

In a situation like this, I would typically recommend creating a ticket with our Jira Cloud Technical Support team so that they can further investigate why this mail server may not be processing emails. I am happy to assist you in doing so if you'd like!

Although, with some of the recent changes to the Microsoft Graph API, there are a few changes to be aware of.

Recently, I worked with a customer who's Outlook was configured in French. When this User logged into the service account which is configured to receive emails in Jira, this email was also in French, thus the 'Inbox' was instead written as 'Boîte de Réception'.  

When you log in to Outlook with the account you are using to receive these emails, what language is it in? 

Navigating to the Mail Handler and selecting Edit, we can see there is a 'Folder Name' field which defaults to 'INBOX', could you please update this field inside your Mail Handler itself to exactly match the name you see in your inbox.

From there, test out mail handler again.

Thanks for your reply.

I tried your solution and indeed it works now ! :P

So it means indeed that as french mailbox we need to edit the folder's name with "Boîte de réception" instead of default value INBOX to catch all emails in it.

Wow, that is absolutely fantastic news! :D

I have worked many tickets since that one, and you're the first user to have 'Boîte de Réception' resolve their issue again! This change has definitely created an up tick in support requests.

I will be working to try and get this new information placed into our public documentation on how to create issue and comments from email.
