Dear Community,
As we are using Jira Cloud enterprise, I'm getting the all the issues related to the project by JQL search but same thing I'm trying to get the data through API's are not getting as I'm a Site Admin.
Please help me in this Scenario!
Thanks
warm regards,
Vishnu Vardhan.
Hello @Vishnu Vardhan Chenna
Can you give more information regarding this issue in regards to which API are you using from the documentation, what errors do you get (401? 500?), are you using your email as the username and password your API token?
For query parameters have you defined your validation? For request body, have you written the actual JQL?
Hi @Nikola Perisic,
thanks for replying
we are not facing any issue like 401or 500, we are getting the data count mismatch from JQL in the portal and the API - https://XXXXXXXX.atlassian.net/rest/api/3/search?jql=issuetype=Epic and parent=XXX &startAt=0&maxResults=100&fields=parent
and we are using email and API token for the authentication and we tried changing the users so many time but that works only for few days and stop working again.
warm regards,
Vishnu Vardhan.

Hello @Vishnu Vardhan Chenna , when you say it works for few days and then stops working again, what do you mean by that?

I mean to say last week we encounter this issue so we changed it after debugging it on Friday and it works well till Monday with a new user with site-admin role (earlier also different user with site admin role on which we got the issue) and suddenly it again api behaving unusual same problem got repeated. We tried this 2-3 time but no idea what / how to resolve this

Understood @Vishnu Vardhan Chenna and for that new user are you using their email and their API token?
