Re-creating a JIRA after a set time period after it has been launched

Hi Team,

We want a JIRA to be automatically created after 1 month and 1 year from the product launch date(due date in Jira ).

Can you please guide? If it could be possible to do.

Hey @Sneha Prakash Somnathe ,

By default there is not really a way to do this in Jira (scheduled issues).

However, you could look in to an app called Automation for Jira which was acquired by Atlassian. If you are on Datacenter it will even become a native functionality soon.

With automation you can have a trigger that runs each day (like a scheduled job) with a JQL.

In case that JQL returns any results it could then create your issue in the project.
