My team plans to convert from server to cloud for Jira and Confluence - need to reduce disk space. We are using over 60GB of disk space, but only have 240 users. No need to upgrade to 1000 licenses, since this would be a waste. Would the best thing to do is delete projects? Any way to archive projects instead of deletion?
Bryant,
Actually, the best thing to do in this situation is to delete attachments since that is more than likely where all of the data usage is coming from. Archive them by downloading the ones you want, then deleting them from the issue. There is not a way to archive a project other than just taking a backup of JIRA then deleting the project.

Thanks very much, Josh!! I'm thinking the attachments most likely take up far more space than each project space or Jira project. Will have my teams start assisting me in this effort now, before the actual conversion.
Thanks Again!
