I'm trying to remove 'Original Estimate' field from Issue types "Story/Bug/Task/Sub-task/Epic" from the project(let's assume Marina). I followed navigation (Marina project --> Project settings --> Issues --> Screens), landed in "Default Issue Type Screen Scheme"
<base url>/plugins/servlet/project-config/<key>/screens
and clicked 'Default screen'
Removed original estimate from the 'Field tab' in Default screen configuration which is being applied for the operation Create issue, Edit issue and View issue in the below page

But, still it is visible in 'Create issue' screen.
Our Jira instance have many projects for couple of product. I'm belong to a product which has 5 projects. Out of 5 projects, one project alone have different screen and scheme associated with it where 'Original estimate' field is not displayed in 'create issue' screen as per the configuration. Other 4 projects including Marina are using 'Default Screen' and 'Default Screen Scheme' where we are facing the problem.
Please help to resolve.
It sounds like you may have to create a set of screens with a screen scheme to apply to the other 4 projects. It really depends on whether the projects in your instance share screen schemes or if each project has its own. Im assuming since you mentioned the Default Screen Scheme that its JIRA's default, and not the project default, so you will have to check that
Alternatively, if you have Admin permission, you should see "Where is my Field?" in main ticket screen under "Admin" or under "Configure Fields" in the Edit Screen. If you click, "Where is my field?" and type in "Time Tracking" (I believe Original Estimate and Remaining Estimate both belong to "Time Tracking") it will tell you where it is located in the schemes, and you can click directly on the links to remove them from the screens you need to remove them from.
Disclaimer: this is true for JIRA server and Data Center, not sure about Cloud

I'm using "Jira Software (Cloud)". I checked in "Configure Fields" (it navigated to -->Issue layout for ”Default Screen”), Original estimate field is not displaying. I'm expecting solution which edit exiting settings without creating new screen and screen scheme.
Others could you help me.?
