Remove Original estimate field from New Features issue type

Hello,

I would like to know how to remove the Original Estimate field from the New Features issue type. I cannot find this field in the Custom Fields, Field Configuration (in Default Field Configuration), or Field Configuration Schemes options.

Maybe is it somewhere in the Time Tracking?

Hi @Krisztina TEGLASI Thats correct Original Estimate and Remaining Estimate are the system fields and auto created when Time tracking is enabled in the Jira site and these fields are not shown on the screens but you check your project layout setting and remove that field from the issue layout as shown in the attached screenshot.

Thank you for your response; it was very helpful. However, I also had to remove the fields from the Default Issue Screen.

Hi Krisztina,

While you on an issue, click the Configure link in the bottom right of the screen next to the cog/gear icon. This will take you to the Issue Layout screen. There you can search for the Original Estimate field and drag it to the far right and off the screen.
