I've been told by atlassian support that I have an incompatible plugin for Jira 7. The plugin is Public Announcement Service for Jira. I can't find this anywhere in my add-ons from the GUI and when I go to JIRA_HOME/plugins/installed_plugins I can't find anything that has PAS anywhere. I was told this was a left over from version 6 Jira.
Does anyone know what the filename for this plugin would be and where I could find it in order to remove it?
Public Announcement Service Plugin

Thank you
Hi, maybe it's located at:
jirahome/plugins/installed-plugins directory, try stopping the service then remove the jar and start the service again
I've been to that directory and I can't figure out what file it is. I don't see it listed in my add-ons when using manage add-ons but thech support tells me it is there. I also don't see any file that looks remotely like it might be this plugin. I am hoping someone can help me out with a possible name of the file.

Sorry for the delay.
Check if you're listing all the add ons with "list all add-ons", if it was installed it should be there:
If it's a version 1 you can check at <INSTALL_DIR>/atlassian-jira/WEB-INF/lib too

It is not listed in my all plugins and I can't find it in either of the locations I would think it would be in. Thank you for pointing out the lib directory. Atlassian tech support told me I needed to get rid of the plugin yet they couldn't tell me the file name or where to look. I just can't find it and I am wondering how they were able to ascertain that I had it and it was incompatible. They said it was a remnant from v6. Thank you for your suggestions. It sure would have helped if atlassian could have given me part of a file name to look for.
