Resolution field not available

Hi,

I'm setting up a Kanban board using Jira Software. It's a team-managed business project.

I can't find the resolution field and when I move the tasks to done, they do not show as resolved on the reports.

In my workflow, I cannot find post functions.

When trying to set up a rule for the workflow transition. The only fields available to be updated are Description, Labels and Start Date, even though my issues have other fields. However, I cannot find the resolution field when configuring my issue either.

Please help, I've gone through all articles I could find and nothing has solved the problem.

Hi @Mateus Haubert and welcome to the Community!

Team managed projects do not have a resolution field that can be set. There is a feature request for this that you can track here: JSDCLOUD-8523. On the ticket there is also a mention of a potential workaround, by setting a resolution value via automation.

General behaviour is that the resolution is being set automatically (but not to a value you could configure) when an issue is moved into the rightmost column of your board.

Thank you Walter.

Just to be clear, the fact that I cannot set the resolution field stops me from getting the issues created vs resolved and all other reports that rely on resolution, right?
Reporting when things are set as done is the only reason I need the resolution field. Is there another way to do this?
