The Resolution field has appeared (overnight) on one of my projects. looking at the Audit log I can't see who or how this has happened. However it is on the screen now as a mandatory field, which I absolutely don't want.
How do I remove it?

Ian
Correct. The default Resolution field will always be required when it is on a screen.
You need to look at the Screen Scheme for the Issue Type in question and remove the Resolution field from the Create Screen for that Project.
Thanks for your response Dave -
The odd thing is, it isn't in the Screen scheme - although I don't see "Create Screen" as such for that project. I can select the Resolution field and add it to the default screen configuration for that project, but it isn't in the list of fields that are included.
When I bring up the Create Screen for a new issue - of any issue type (and only in that affected project) I don't see Resolution at all. It is only when I save the new issue, the field appears and wants input.
Frankly I'd put it down to being a bug that has been introduced overnight given I was happily adding new issues up to COB yesterday, and was the first person in today.... but more likely either I've done something I'm not aware of, or someone else has.
Right now I have to say I am completely stymied on this. Fortunately I can continue creating issues using the drop downs direct on the board.
Kind regards
Ian

As an update, after having done nothing at all, it has been working just fine since Monday start of business 15th July.
I would suggest this is a bug of some kind that had been introduced, and then remedied.
