Hi, can you please advise.
How to enable Resolution field.
Currently i have Resolution field that always set to - Unresolved
How can i enable it, so i will be able to change resolution, but it will not be bound/linked to "Status"
You don't 'enable' it. It should be presented on the transition screen when you're closing the issue. Whenever it is presented it is REQUIRED so DO NOT put it on the edit or create screens. If you have a transition to reopen an issue there must be a post function to CLEAR the resolution field or the issue will continue to show as resolved.
hi Joseph, thank you for your respond.
As i understand you suggesting to link it to transition to workflow, so for example if i move ticket to 'closed' it will be 'resolved'
But my goal is to make this field independent, if you move ticket to 'closed' (or not moving). i can select resolution as - resolved, or duplicate or can not replicate.
can you please advise how to do it ?

Hey Kenneth,
To do that you would need to add a screen with the Resolution field on the transitions where you would like to set a Resolution.
This guide should help you out:

You need to remember, once the resolution is set the built in 'issues assigned to me' WILL NOT show the issue as needing to be worked. That filter only shows issue without a resolution set.
Closing an issue doesn't need to mean it goes through the entire workflow. I have several statuses, including open, with transitions to Closed. On the Open I normally restrict the resolution options to Duplicate and Not a Problem using the workflow properties to only show some resolution values.
