Restrict Bug

Hi Team,

Can we restrict issue types for user groups want certain groups to enter or see type Bug? Without using addon.

Hi @Sravan kumar,

The only way I can think of right away is by setting up a separate project for bugs, which does allow you to specify who can create/see issues in that project.

Nope, that is not available out of the box. Jira has a workflow validator available that you could use, but it is based on permissions a user already has in the project. Browse project or create issues is generic for your entire project, not selective by issue type.
