Reuse flows between spaces

Andrea Rodriguez June 23, 2020

Hi,

Can you confirm the possibility of reuse flows between existing Jira spaces?

I don't want to create a new flow when I have it already in another jira space.

Thanks!

Andrea

Hello @Andrea Rodriguez what would be a Jira space? If it's another project within the instance then yes, you can reuse the existing configuration from other projects and I would recommend you to do it. If by space you mean another instance, then you can export and import your workflows, you will later have to keep them in sync if you change something in the future

Hi Hernan.

By space I'm referring to the instance. For example I want to retrieve a flow from this space:

mydomain1.atlassian.net/

to this one:

mydomain2.atlassian.net/

So I suppose the import/export option is the one I should select. Is there an specific format in which it should be exported?

And can I just copy and paste it? I don't expect they are in sync.

Thanks,

Andrea

Sorry but looks like the import isn't supported by cloud, I was pretty sure it was. See the following link

I'm afraid you will have to manually replicate it.
