Road map for two different projects/ Free plugin?

Is it possible to connect tasks (add the dependencies) from two different projects?

But I don't want to pay for the plugin.

Could you advise some ways to connect it?

To connect and manage tasks from multiple projects without a plugin, you can create an Agile board to do it: 

To create an Agile board:

1. From the global navigation at the top of the page, select the search field (or press /) and select Go to all: Boards. Then select Create board in the upper right of the screen.

2. In the modal that appears, choose to either Create a Scrum board or Create a Kanban board, then choose the Board from an existing project

3. Give your board a name, and choose which project you want to use. Select a location for your board.

4. When you’re ready, select Create board.

Now you can access the recently created board and manage tasks from many projects.

Sorry I meant to connect dependencies on the menu Timeline 

but from the different projects

But I hope you got my idea

White color is the task from Project 1 - let's name it like this

and red one are the tasks of Project 2

Hi @Max, unfortunately, this is a known difference between Jira's free and premium plans. You can only use the Timeline feature with the Premium plan.

The alternative solution you might consider is using the plugin, these 2 below plugins allow you to manage tasks from many projects on the timeline and are always free for under 10 users: 

• Project Management: Resource Planning & Gantt Chart for Jira
• Portfolio Roadmaps, Kanban & Timeline Gantt-chart for Jira
