RoadMap - Beta Feature Enabled

Hello,

I'm new to JIRA. I have set-up a Kanban project and created the RoadMap linked to my project. I had all the dates set-up for the child issues; parents dates were automatically aligned. I had even set colors to each of my Epics. I could see the Beta Feature Enabled in the header next to RoadMap.

Last week, the tag "Beta Feature Enabled" disappeared and all the dates and 'bars' disappeared. This happened to 2 of us in the organization but not to all of us. I tried to research what settings needed to be reset with no success.

This morning both of these were back (dates and colored bars)!

Question: Is there any explanation on this? What settings affect this display?

Though I am not sure, this may be related to this new feature that is currently rolling out to schedule child issues on the roadmap. It seems that it needs start and due date fields to be configured for your project, which may explain differences across your site.

Hi @Walter Buggenhout Thank you for your quick reply. It does make sense! However, I now can see the dates on the child issues of my Kanban Board BUT I don't see the switch for Child level issue scheduling under the RoadMap settings. Weird? Or am I missing something? Thank you!
