Roadmap empty

ElkeB September 8, 2021

Hello community,

I checked the related entries in the forum on empy roadmap and I checked this FAQimage.png https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/Roadmap-Lost/qaq-p/1717693, but none of the solutions helped me fix the problem: I created and have worked with a roadmap for a while. I use a Scrum, not a Kanban board. I can see my epics as swimlanes in the board and as flags on the cards. So issue type epic and the epics exist. How to get my roadmap back??

Thanks in advance for your help!

Sorry, stupid mistake! Fixed it myself. The filter in the board settings was the problem (Board Settings / General and Filter / Filter / Edit Filter Query: Include epics in the board filter, save!). Roadmap is filled again :-)

Hi @ElkeB

From my understanding, the basic roadmap feature uses a kanban board as the issue source. This means that you'd need to create a Kanban board with your epics and then it would show on the basic roadmap.

If you don't want to use a kanban board, you'd likely need to use the Advanced Roadmaps feature if that's available to you.

Hope this helps.

Thank you Jacob

According to the Jira help it has to be a scrum board.   Also the roadmap was there and I used it without problems. I did not change the board type and I did not delete a board. That cannot be the reason.

Any other ideas?
