Same fix version across two projects for same piece of software. How can I do this?

I do not need it to automatically sync but I have two projects which release as one because the two projects are for the same piece of software but one is for feature requests and the other is for BAU. They need to be their own projects but we need to assign the same fix version when testing sign tickets off. This needs to feed all into the same release notes.

Can this be done through the settings in JIRA please?

Thanks,

Hello,

You can not do it out of the box. You would need a plugin. For example, Portfolio:

Thanks, why does everything have to be a plug in! 🙈 I will just name the releases the same.

Thanks
