Script Runner update time in linked tickets from different projects

Hi All,

I am not a developer, so I'll try to explain the issue that we have and hope, that some professionals could help.

We have 2 projects: Project A and Project B

In Project A we have a ticket "Alfa" with sub-task "Alfa-one"

Then, in Project B we creating a ticket "Beta" and link it to the sub-task "Alfa-one"/

In the ticket "Beta" we create a sub-task "Beta two". 

This is the structure. 

What we want to achieve: When we logging 1 hour as a Time spent in the subtask "Beta two", it's adding to the parent ticket "Beta" from Project B and we need it to be automatically added to the Time spent for the sub-task  "Alfa-one". 

So, it seems for me that we need a listener for the the event of logging time in Project B and, when it happens, update the time in parent ticket in Project B and the linked to it sub-task in Project A,

This is definitely possible, but you may want to reach out to a local Atlassian expert for these types of requests, as they can get quite complex once you start digging in. Also, when you want to modify it or add additional functionality, it's always good to have a reliable partner that can help you out.
