Script runner code management in jira cloud

In Jira Server and Data center, when dealing with conditions, validators, post functions, listeners etc, Script Runner allows you to either place the scripts in line or to point to a script in the file system. This allows managing the scripts code in a version control system.

In Jira Cloud there is no option to point to a script in the file system. All scripts are in line. 

How can they be managed in a source control system?

The link provided brings me to the Adaptavist Group Portal which only allows me to search the portal not to raise tickets.

I also feel that Atlassian should recognize this is a topic of interest, clarify with Adaptavist and have an answer for Atlassian users.

To submit a support ticket to Adaptavist:

1. Access the Adaptavist Support Portal.
2. Click on "ScriptRunner for Jira Cloud - Get help with ScriptRunner for Jira Cloud."
3. Select "General Request."
4. Fill in your information accordingly.
5. Click "Send."
