Scrum filter - deleted, can I create another one and have access to the backlog?

I have various scrums and many filters.

I inadvertently deleted a filter that controlled what is shown in the scrum.

The scrum backlog has now disappeared. So have all the reports for the set of sprints that were in the backlog. It is also no longer in the list of 'Boards'.

Is there a way to create the filter again so I can see all the sprints?

I suppose there is no trouble to create a new board based on any JQL you need.

If I create a new board and set up the old filter, will it automatically recognise previous sprints, backlog and report contents?

Maybe it's better to try to create and save JQL-filter and configure to use this filter at your exist board. By the way if you create a new board and set up the old filter it will automatically recognize previous sprints and backlog.

I don't have an existing board - it disappeared when I deleted the scrum filter.
