Hi,

We have a user license of 100 users for JIRA 7.3.

However, on installation we fond that the functionality to set their own password for the JIRA users doesn't exist. Being the JIRA administrator, I tried to explore it, but no success so far. After viewing the documentation, I found that the Settings(icon) > Security

I have also explored all options using Settings(icon) > System > Security

( includes Project Roles, Global Permissions, User Sessions, Remember my login  and Whitelist)

Can you please suggest what is wrong in the configuration and how can this be corrected.

Thanks and Regards,

Amit

What user directory are you using?

We are using JIRA Internal User directory (Oracle database for JIRA) as user directory. We had earlier tried to use external directory for Confluence which was creating issues due to coupling and we finally decided to proceed both of them separately,
