Sending emails from JIRA to anonymous users

we are looking to set up a project for anonymous users to create request from there we will have 2 teams that will work those request. My question is if we set up a field where they will supply their email address is there a way to send an email to that address from JIRA? Kind of like hey we got your request here is your ticket number type thing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated !!
