Server/Data Center Migration

We have a new license key for Data Center.   We would like to test the migration from Server to Data Center on single node in our Lab environment first.   Can we use the license key twice once in lab then in production enviroments.   OR do I need to get a trail license for testing in the Lab?

You can use your key twice, it's not prohibited and key won't be banned. So, it's not necessary to make trial license.

To test the migration from Server to Data Center in your lab environment, it's advisable to obtain a trial license specifically meant for testing purposes.
