Set default value on custom field by project

We have a custom field to identify what stage of the project the issue has been identified (CRP, SIT, UAT, etc).  We would like to have a default set for this field based on the current stage.  However, with multiple projects, we would need to set this differently based on the stage of the project.  Is there a way to set a default value for a custom field at the project level?  Or even by the field configuration scheme level?

Hi.

If you create a new custom field, you can configure it by Custom Field Configuration schemes. It is possible to have more these schemes for the one custom field and every scheme can be configured differently. The default value of the custom field is one of several configuration in the Custom Field Configuration.

Noting that I actually found this under the `configuration scheme context` which was a little bit harder to find (I needed to find the `context` specifically)
