Set resolution for status

I am unable to set resolution on status "Canceled"
on my Sprint and Kanban boards

I check the checkbox on the board view and when I refresh it removes it.

I do not see the option to add post-function for resolution to the status in my workflow.

When you click on the "All" Transition going to Cancel it doesn't give you the post-function to "Update Field" and "Resolution"?
