Hi all, I am new to administering JIRA. I have set up quite a few things, but my management wants this:
When I hover over a user icon in the backlog, such summary tooltip appears. I do not have access to the JIRA with the screenshot.
Can someone tell me please which tools or settings I can use to activate it? Is it an application that needs to be installed, an automation or something out of the box?

This is standard if you use the Company Managed Project type when you create the Jira projects. It is not available in Team Managed Project types.
It is also only available if you set up the Company Managed project with a Scrum Board. And you only see it above the sprints themselves in the backlog view.
@__ Jimi Wikman Thank you for a quick reply. And as far as I understand, I cannot just change Project type. I would need to create a new project and then migrate all existing JIRAs to it, and also consider a number of things while doing it...

That is correct.
I usually take a meeting with the project admin to discuss the setup since the Company Managed projects should share setups, but that is not always what the teams want.
On the upside, though, company managed projects have more features that they might like.
