Accordingly, there should be a share box next to export when I go into an issue so that I can select an external party to send details of the ticket to, but where is this option in this version? Am i just missing it? Do i need to configure something in options to set this?
Thanks!
Brendan
Hello
There is a button like you said next to export:
If you don't have that button maybe sharing component is disabled. Check system plugins on manage add-ons section and find Share content component and check if it's disabled.
Regards,
Thanks for the reply. The component shows as enabled, I tried disabling and enabling, no joy. Still cant get that box up! How strange! Any other ideas?
Are you using the same version as us? We are on 7.11

Hi, we have 7.7 but I don't think that would make a big difference. One more thing I can think of, do you have browse users (global) permission? That may also be the reason if you don't.

Also in the share content component are all the modules enabled? Could share issue be disabled only?

Yes, all the modules do show as enabled..
Unfortunately the user account is a member of the administrators group. How strange! I have upgraded this server quite a few times, i wonder if something has got messed up in an upgrade?

That's very strange, I can't think of anything else. Maybe you can try to open a support ticket and Atlassian will be able to help you, I'm sure. Sorry I couldn't be much help.

No, not at all, thanks for responding :)
Will see if I can get a ticket logged.
Cheers!
