Hello there!
Currently, when an issue is flagged, the flag is visible in the backlog (where flagged issues are highlighted in yellow) and on the board view, where flagged issues are also marked in yellow.
However, when opening a linked issue (for example an issue that "implements" or "blocks" a flagged issue), there is no indication that the linked issue is flagged (no flags, no highlights). It would be helpful to have flagged issues visually highlighted within the "Linked issues" field when viewing a related issue.
This would make it easier to track dependencies and blockers without needing to check the backlog or board manually.
Is there a built-in way to achieve this, or would it require automation/custom scripting?
Thanks in advance!

Yeah this is a confusing one. So the actual name of the flagged field is "Impediment" so you would need to add that field to your screens to see it.
I had this problem when I tried to find it myself
Alternatively you could make an automation rule and make a field called Flagged and set it, but the data does already exist in the Impediment field so I personally wouldn't do it. But it's an option

Hi @Clark Everson , thanks for your answer.
I'd like to clarify my issue with some screenshots:
By editing the Screens configuration, I noticed that I can add a field named "Flagged" (since "Impediment" does not exist for me), but I'm unsure if this will solve my issue.
Do you think your previous answer still applies to my case?
Thanks in advance!

The linked issues view is very limited, you aren't able to add fields there. It only shows the status, priority and issue type
you would need to make a dashboard with the fields displayed on it. And then view them from there. Or you can use a plan in Jira.
Hope this helps.
Best,
Clark
