When I attempt to upload images to a ticket's comments some of them randomly don't get uploaded? Neither dragging and dropping or via the "Add image, video, or file" button seem to work properly. Our Jira attachment size is set to 1,024.00 MB, so it's not a size limit issue. This problem only effects images. If I try to upload the txt files in my screenshot below they all upload correctly.
E.g. I select 8 images to upload and only 4 are added to the ticket. The 4 chosen are completely random and seem to change each time.
@Nathan Hutchins This is a bug, you can follow the ticket here - [JRACLOUD-93601] Attachment Failure: All the chosen Images are not added to the comments - Create and track feature requests for Atlassian products.
Also, there is a workaround this:
This only happens when the comment is empty. If you type any character prior to uploading the files they will be attached just fine.
Thank you for linking that bug ticket and also telling me the workaround!

Is this happening only with bulk upload? Does uploading one at a time work?

I just had a user reached out to me and she is facing this issue too.

It happens when trying to upload 2 or more images. I just tested again and it's always halved. If I upload 2 images, 1 gets attached. If I upload 4; 2 get attached, and so on. Yes it works when uploading (or drag dropping) 1 image at a time. Which becomes very tedious.
(this also seems to only be an issue with image files, text files still upload fine).
We started to notice this problem around two weeks ago.
