Hello All,
In our Jira application some users have multiple profiles, it is confusing to reporter to assign issues. I Don't see delete option in the UI to delete duplicate profiles.
Is there any way to retrieve all duplicate profiles from the backed(database) and delete?
Thanks in Advance,
Manikanta
Hi Mikael,
We have only one user directory(open LDAP) integrated with Jira.
Thanks,
Manikanta
If you are running on Jira 7.x you may be running into this issue, JRASERVER-68456. A previous issue was fixed as of 7.2.6, and the workaround was to restart Jira, do a lock index and disable/enable your user directory.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Thanks Sandberg.
Yes, we are running Jira 7.12.3 version
I will do lock and reindexing and disable/enable user directory and update you.

Hi @Bunty,
It sounds like you have multiple user directories and to remove them you need to decide which user directory is the master on. Once that is done, do this:
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
