Hi,
Currently on a dashboard gadget you can show a list of issues based on a saved filter.
However, on our Business projects we have the "List" view that allows you to drill down a couple of levels.
Is there a way/gadget that I'm missing that could replicate that behaviour?
So you're looking for your list view to show Epics, but then be able to expand the Epics to show the Stories under each Epic and then expand the Story to show the Sub-tasks under the Story in a hierarchical view?
If that's what you're looking for, I'm not aware of any out-of-the-box functionality, but Structure allows you to create that view and they provide a gadget which allows you to display that Structure on a dashboard.
Thanks @Matt Parks , You are indeed correct in your assumption.
We do have Structure as well so that was one of our options.
I was just hoping to not be dependent on any app :)
Thanks for confirming!

If you would be interested in an add-on for this need, you can try out our plugin.
The app shows your issue hierarchy in a tree view and the ability to add all your jira columns in the report, plus you will be add the app as a dashboard gadget too.
The app has multiple other features which are very useful in project tracking and management.
(Disclaimer: I work on RVS, the vendor for this app)

Hey @Amay Purohit_RVS ,
Always able to look at an app but I was hoping to clear it without one of course :)
We currently already have Structure and we might be able to use that too. Was just hoping to avoid a dependency :)

Sorry I have a question, since this original question was asked as a server deployment, is the above issue hierarchy app able to be installed on a JIRA Server implementation?

Welcome to the community !!
Apologies, did not realize that the query was for server deployment.
For server deployment, we have another app, Agile Tools.
This app contains the Issue hierarchy module as well as time in status and worklogs modules too.
Thanks

Thank you so much for the response, as my JIRA Team approved the Add On install, they attempted to get this App but it is no longer available for JIRA Server, just Data Center.
I understand why this is, but I would like to ask if it is possible to still get this App? We are planning to migrate to Data Center, but as a very large company with over 1800 active instances it will take up to 6 months.
We would plan to migrate to the Data Center version once our system is updated. But, this is a critical part of my instance need and I really like how your App is put together.
Is there any way we could get the JIRA Server version upon agreement that we are migrating to the Data Center?
If needed, we move this to e-mail and I could include my JIRA Team.
Thanks
Sean
