Somehow removed the ability to nest by epic under list view of a business project

Hello!

I am trying to restore the ability to nest tasks under epics in the list view of my business jira project. I seem to have somehow changed epics as the top level of a team managed project and can't find where to fix it. 

I used to be able to nest and create tasks directly under the epics. I can still associate tasks as child tasks, but not in a nested view.



Missing option here

I don't really have an answer or explanation, but this has definitely been raised before by others, see e.g. https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Work-Management-Questions/List-Configuration-Fix-Issues-no-longer-automatically-organized/qaq-p/2067900.

Perhaps someone from Atlassian can say more about this?

This is definitely a bug after last weeks update that was pushed to Cloud.

It seems that others on my team are able to see the nested epic->task->subtask... I assume it's an unfortunate soft rollout / test.
