Sprint Report - can we add Epic?

Any way to add Epic to the Sprint Report's issues list?

Hi Jason,

Nic discusses a bit of this on the below thread:

Essentially, an Epic is part of a greater work, so it's not likely you'll be able to finish an entire Epic in the given time for the Sprint. That said, you can include the stories from within the Epic that you have capacity to work on during your Sprint. You can add all of them if you have the capacity.

Hi Shannon,

From your answer, it appears to me that you misunderstand the problem.  When looking at the issues in a sprint report, it would be nice to know which issues were part of which epic.

Obviously, per Nic's answer that you referenced, epics may span many sprints so it doesn't make sense to list epics as individual issues within a sprint report.

However, very often we have different team members working on different epics during the same sprint and I find myself needing to report how much effort we spent on each of the epics.

That does clarify things. It wasn't immediately evident from Jason's description that this is what he was after and I have seen before users asking to add an Epic to a Sprint, so I had assumed this is what he wanted as well.
