Sprint field display format

Hello,

I have a user who created a filter that is showing sprint filed in the following format

2024-05-30_07-34-31.png

He shared the filter with me and the output displays the name of the 3 sprints.  I checked the column definition for that filter, which is the same as mine.  Can you tell me how we can have the filter output displaying sprint fields in the format above.?

Thank you

Enrique

Hello @Enrique

Thank you for the screenshots; they give us more clarity on the problem you described.

Based on the screenshots, you are using the old view search.

To confirm that, you can click on the ... on the right top corner of your search and see if you have the option to switch to the new issue search:

Could you please confirm and let us know?

Thank you so much!

Hi @Lígia Zanchet

Confirm, when switching to the new issue search, the sprint fields is corrected. However the Dashboard that uses that filter still shows the list of Sprints.  Is there a switch there too?  or an admin configuration to adjust the dashboard to show sprint field in the same way that the filter view does?

Hi @Enrique
Thank you for confirming.

The filter gadget has not been updated to the new view, so the results will display the same way as you saw before.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to change that within the gadget itself.

Thanks for your question.

Hi @Enrique , I have not played with this but my suspicion is that the "+2}" version is a result of column width which could be impacted by the number of columns, window sizing, etc. can you test that theory in your instance? Make sure you compare your view in a manner identical to your colleagues, column layout, browser, screen size, etc.

Hi @Jack Brickey

I have collected the information you requested. In my instance (Screenshots in black background) There is no behavioral change other than shifting from a vertical list to a horizontal list (this changes if I ZOOM-In or Zoom-Out), windows sizing only adds the scroll bar, I checked the screen resolution to the user 1920x1080, no additional change either other than the one I already mentioned.

Adding columns in my view did not change the format just added the scroll bar.

Also, check the Chrome version both are the same.

In the user screen (screenshots with White background)

This format did not change under any changes (Adding and removing Columns, changing windows size, zoom in and out)

What I did notice is that what is showing is not only a format change it has to be a rule.  when the user runs the filter it is not only showing the short version listed above also only showing only the open sprints when the issue has participated in a previous sprint but not in the current one the filters list:  NONE (+1) that seems a rule that has nothing to do with the size, number of columns, etc.
