Sprint field in edit issue page not active

I have added the sprint field to the edit issue page on a number of my projects. This is so I can change the sprint the issue is assigned to without dragging it in the backlog. However I cannot work out how to make this field active.

Currently Ii can roll over other fields on these pages and they are clearly able to be clicked and changed, the Sprint field cannot be. I have looked at the permissions under manage sprints and I have full permissions. Any ideas?

This issue has been resolved. I am not sure why as there was no settings differences I made since this post but now the field is editable. I can only assume some caching of old settings or alike would be the reason.

I am new at Jira admin cases but have tried to take a point on your issue. Here are the steps, which might be useful:

1. Click the Jira icon > Projects > then select the relevant project.
2. Choose Settings > Screens.
3. Click the > to expand the relevant screen scheme.
4. Select the Edit issue screen.

Then check if the sprint field persist there. If not, try to add it by scrolling to the bottom of the list and click on the 'Select field' drop-down page, where you will find it.

Yeh I was able to add the field in there but it wasnt editable.

Has there been a suggested answer? I don't see one here and we have experienced this in a variety of ways - in some older issues that have carried over into multiple sprints the field is no longer editable and then it also happens on some brand new issues in current sprints. It is not dependably reproducible but happens quite regularly.
