Status change based on linked issues status

Hi, 

I would like to know how to change the status of an issue based on the status of it linked issues. 

Our workflow works as following: on one of the boards we'll create an issue. This issue will be translated into 2 other issues for the dev teams (on different boards) and those issues will be linked to the original one. Once dev finished their work and marked their issues as done, I want the original issue to move to the "dev done" status. How could I do this?

You will want to leverage and automation addon. I suggest you investigate one of Automation for Jira, Scriptrunner, power Scripts.
