Status change depend on another issuetype issue

I have two issuetype (deliverable and project).If deliverable issue in done status then project issues also should move into done status.

You could achieve this in two different ways, but this depends on if you have 3rd party apps or not, as well as, the way these two issue type (issues actually) are connected (link type). E.g. you could use Jira automation as follows:

• Trigger: Issue transition to Done
• Condition: If issue type is Deliverable
• Branch: Related Issues (relates to <-- this depends if you have standardize it within your project)
  • Condition: If issue type is Project
  • Action: Transition issue to Done

For the above rule to work, a transition for the Project issue type from Any status to Done should exist (e.g. global transition)

I understand using automation rule but i cannot perform any status to done transition can you please tell me the second option how we can proceed.

• Go to your workflow and edit it
• Go to Done status and click it
• On the pop up window which will appear, check the "Global transition" check box, which allows all statuses to transition to that status

Can you elaborate on what is not working?

Also, note that even with JMWE, you'll need to have an existing transition to the Done status for your Project issues.
