I have an issue when seeing the Project or initiative status on the main big picture screen where status column is not consistent. but when you click on that project then on the project page the status is showing correctly.
example:
On the main display the Levergae CRM slution project has a 0% for In progress which is NOT correct.
When i click on the project bp opens another page for that project with its tasks and there the leverage crm... prject has correct in progress.
there is another issue where an initiative status is all empty when its child like programs and prohects do have status shown so why?
I think is related to what is in the Big Picture, the progress by status seems to be calculated base on what is in the level below in Big Picture, not in JIRA.
So if in a Box you display Initiative, Epic and Story you will not have the same progress as if you display only Initiative and Epic.
agree but what we have in bp is derived from Jira project (we link the project).
I have verified all of the childs below and its working fine mostly but issue is only related to one or two items. how do i solve it? any clue?

I think it' s the right place for this question, you can also raise BigPicture support.
Regarding your issue, is the data from the "faulty" issues the same in BP and in JIRA, if not you may have index issue or sync issue between JIRA and BP.
For the "faulty" issues are the status , status from the In Progress status categories ?
But even if you link to project if your box do not display anything below "Leverage CRM .." it will compute the progress only at the current level even if in JIRA there is issues below.

I think its an issue with BP only and it is only when BP shows the status of same project in the main page (where we see all project initiatives etc) but when I see the same Project on its own page in BP the status is correct.

I' ve not worked with BP for a while. I suggest you to create a support request to BP directly and they will help you troubleshoot your specific issue.
