Currently, when I move a ticket from project A to project B, the status the ticket was in prior to moving from project A to project B remains the same as the status after the ticket is moved. How can I have this ticket's status default back to whatever the first stage of the project's workflow is, in the case of moving tickets between projects?
For example, if I have a ticket in project A that is "in progress," but need to move this ticket to project B, I don't want the ticket to remain in "in progress" status once moved to project B. I would like this ticket's status to default back to the first stage of the new project's workflow (i.e. queued, waiting for approval, whatever it may be)
How can this be done?
If both the projects are using the same workflow move will automatically use the same status. The best option for is to move it back to the status you prefer before move.
Hi Muthu, both projects in my scenario are not using the same workflow. What do you suggest in this case?

@Sulove Khanal, If the same 'status'es exist in both workflow, it will automatically assign the status. Overall, we cannot rely on JIRA 'move' steps like a workflow stage.
