Greetings. I have a project with a email channel. There are some members of the project that are automatically notified when anything on the project happens issue creation, comments from a vendor etc. How can I stop specific members from being automatically notified? They only want to be notified for specific issues on the project.
You can configure notifications modifying notification scheme associated with this project. You can configure there who should receive which notifications for various events. Here you can find documentation on that matter. You need to exclude them (their group/roles/etc.) from notification scheme.
To ensure they will receive notifications for specific issues just add them as watchers to those issues and make sure that "All Watchers" are configured in Notification Scheme for required events.
Best regards,
Piotr
@Piotr Zadrożny _Eyzee_ - I think you have shared Jira Cloud documentation but this was Jira Server one.

Hi @Shawn Wallace ,
Thanks for posting.
Could you please check the default the notification scheme and set the notification scheme accordingly if required so that they are not automatically notified - https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/creating-a-notification-scheme-938847330.html ?
