I've linked a Tempo Account to a Jira Project.
I can time write in stories via Tempo to that Project.
I can see the time I've written but it shows as No Account.
I can't seem to get it to assign the time to the Account.
What have I missed???
Tempo / Jira cloud
Hi @Dodger Arnett ,
As Projects can be linked to many Tempo Accounts, the Account you want to use for each issue needs to be set in the Tempo Account custom field.
In the Account custom field, you can then select one of the Accounts that is linked to the Project. The Account set on the issue will then be connected to all worklogs made on this issue and Tempo Reports can be filtered by it.
Please take also a look at https://tempo-io.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/THC/pages/172523757/Adding+the+Account+Field+to+the+Jira+Issue+View+-+Tempo+Cloud for more information.

awesome thanks.
Got the default project set and the Account added to stories.
Is there a way to overwrite a default project on a Story with the Account set on that Story's Epic?
I want to be able to inherit Accounts from the Epic.
thanks again

Hi @Dodger Arnett ,
Only subtasks can inherit the Account from their parent task.
As Stories can be linked to an Epic in a different Project ( which might be linked to different Accounts), it is not possible to inherit Accounts from Epics.
