Using Jira server 9.4.0

If an unknown (new) jira user sends us a support request by email with another unknown (new) jira user in CC, both receive the same automatic response containing the same link to the same page where they are invited to create a password for a new account with the original mail sender's email address as the full name.

The first to click wins - worries about it; the other will not have a second chance.

What could we do to ensure that each of these people receives a personalized autoresponder, with their own email address inside the link ?

Hi Olivier,

Have you tried disabling new account creation for the CC field?

Hello Christopher, and thank you for your answer.

We have'nt tried that yet; this will be the ultimate option (useful feature)

Hi Olivier,

Sounds good. If no one else ends up with any further insight here and if that option ends up being the best choice for you, if you would at some point mark my comment as "the Answer", in addition to marking the issue as "answered" it would also help me. I'm working to become an Atlassian Community Leader, which requires a certain amount of answers, as well as a certain amount of answers marked as "answer"!

Thanks!
