How far out is being able to move issues within a structure and have it change issue fields automatically based on query criteria in Jira Cloud?
I use Ranking on all my queries within structure so it will match the team boards. Being able to plan and organize a sprint from within structure across multiple projects and Teams is extremely powerful. As i set priorities(rearrange items displayed) on my structure it automatically adjusts priorities(based on Ranking) on my teams boards(also sorted by Rank).
Having and then not having this ability is pretty painful. :/
Is this something that will happen this year?
Thank you!
This function is something we are actively working on, but I want to err on the side of caution and not say it will happen next month. This year is a fair assessment though, even taking into account how hard it is to port most Server Structure functions into the Cloud.

Thank you! I've gone from the full blown Server instance with Structure at one company to the Cloud version at another and am struggling a bit to get my bearings. :/
Appreciate the update!! Can't wait! :)

Its been 3 months since asking this question. How far out are you now from being able to perform this functionality? At a minimum being able to change ranking is essential. This is one of the most powerful aspects of Structure and being able to truly utilize it to its fullest. Can I at least get a roadmap as to when this might be available?

Hi Parrish,
Here is the Structure Cloud Roadmap. As you see, this function is quite high on the list. Still, I cannot promise its delivery very soon.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Egor

Hello Adrienne & Parrish,
The ability to sort issues in a structure by their Ranks and the ability to change Ranks by rearranging issues in a structure as well has been implemented. You can find more about Sort generators in our documentation here.
I hope this helps! If you mean some other functionality here, please feel free to contact us directly at support.almworks.com and we'll be glad to discuss it with you.
Best regards,

The functionality is implemented in Structure Cloud and it allows to sort Jira issues. And Structure Cloud doesn't work with Confluence pages at this time.

Found a "work-around" for now by adding structure to a dashboard then putting the dashboard within iFrame on confluence.
Still would be really great to have ability for Structure Cloud work with Confluence.
Thank you!
