Our company was seriously considering switching to Jira for project management etc but we need to replicate a similar set up as what we've currently got with our current provider.
I've had an ongoing support ticket with a representative for the past month+ and I am really struggling to even understand everything they are saying to me.
Is it not possible to actually speak to someone on the phone to ask the questions I need to know the answer to?
It seems massively complex just to figure out what the heck is what with all the products etc - or is that just me? I guess you get used to it the more you use it? Obviously ensuring our staff can figure out how to even use Jira is of big concern before we even start migrating over.
At the moment, I just feel like giving up and seeking other solutions... :/
Atlassian doesn’t have a phone number that you can call to learn more about the product. However you can contact one of their partners. J then there is good training online as well here - https://www.atlassian.com/university . Finally if you have specific questions the community is a great place to get answers.
Thanks - I am asking on here and seeing what I can find in the University for the moment.
It is disappointing not being able to speak directly to a sales team as this is literally the difference between our company signing-up or going elsewhere so very surprising that there is not more help in onboarding new customers.

I get where you’re coming from because I went through that same thought process when I first began using Atlassian products. However in my opinion what I have found is that Atlassian does a much better job than most companies without a sales team. There is plenty of great documentation out there the community is a great resource and there are videos online that give you a good overview of the solution albeit some are quite dated.

There does seem to be a lot of documentation and videos etc which is great, it's just I've not been able to find anything that answers the specific questions I have which I kind of just need to know the answer to in order to establish if Jira will work for our business and workflow (before I invest a crazy amount of time in trying to figure out for myself).

I would come up with your list of questions then search the community for answers. For those where you can’t find an answer post your question. Or reach out to a partner and schedule some time to review your requirements and see how they might be able to assist obviously this last option comes at a cost. This is why I suggested it last.
