Sub task is not visible to the people added in visibility

Hi, I have added a few people in visibility for a Sub task as the security level is visibility, the same group of people are there in the main task as well with same setting.

These people are not able to see the subtask in the main task. Also they are not getting any updates on comments etc. that I am updating.

Also how do i get email notification for any changes i am making to my tasks. As i am not getting mail as well.

Any suggestions

Hi @Devesh Bagrodia welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Do I understand it correctly that you have implemented Issue Security for a particular project?

Are the people (users/groups/project roles) who are part of the security level able to see other issue types?

This is company maintained account, the ticket I have raised a Issue & have security type as Visibility.

Now after creating this main ticket say 38 i created a sub issue in it 39, this sub issue is not visible to people who are added in visibility.

As a counter i have added them in visibility in sub issue as well, still people are not getting anything

Have you tried the permission helper to check which conditions are failing?
