How do I disable subtasks from accepting hours if I mark Theme/Initiative/Epic as done?

Hi @Efrain.Perez ,

In your sutbtask workflow you can set some values in properties, in status like Done/Canceled:

  • Note: This disables worklog/log work in a single status.
  • key: jira.permission.work.denied
  • value:          (leave empty)

That is for when people mark subtasks complete, but at this time I want to disable subtasks that were created prior to 2023 unable to accept hours and not close items when they are marked complete now.

@Efrain.Perez , you just need to update the workflow of subtask with this properties in status category done of your workflow

or if your story is complete, you can use automation to complete all subtask :)
