Submit request through email

Hi community. This is the portal's form. Can i use exactly the same also for submit tickets through email; If yes, how can i do it;

No. You cannot use a form in an email. JSM would convert the body to plain text. The subject becomes the Summary and body the Description. Now you may be able to leverage Automation to search the description for info that can be used to populate custom fields.

Hi Jack, this is exactly what i did and seems it works.

In case i need to look for more than one values, separating them using comma (,) is going to work;

Great! The only challenge with this or at least one key challenge is that if any changes are made or alterations are made to the form for the day the past and then the automation could easily fail.

Hi @Giorgos A Tsavegias 

Jira Service Management projects have the ability to receive emails and create issues as a built-in function. Go to Project Settings > Email Requests to configure it.
